How much does it cost?

Sellers pay nothing. Listing, bidding and trading are free for farmers. Buyers pay a per-tonne fee starting at $2.50/MT, charged only when a trade is agreed. If nothing sells, nobody pays.

How do I sell my grain?

Post the commodity, grade, quantity and where it's stored. Verified buyers bid on it, you counter or accept from the dashboard or the app, and you can decline every bid without penalty.

Who buys grain on MGX?

Licensed grain companies, processors, brokers and elevators from across Canada. Every buyer is identity-verified before they can bid, and licensed buyers meet Canadian Grain Commission requirements.

What do the posted prices mean?

Every public price on MGX is a delivered price, sourced from MGX buyers and posted elevator cash bids, so you can compare what your grain is worth at the delivery point rather than at the farm gate.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes. The MGX app is free on iOS and Android. List inventory, watch bids and close trades from the field with the same account you use on the web.

What happens after I accept a trade?

Once both sides accept, the trade is confirmed and contact details are exchanged. You and the buyer arrange contracting, delivery and settlement directly; MGX steps out once the trade is agreed. Our support team is one message away if you need a hand.
